Decks, Docks, Stairs, and Boardwalks

Having a stilt house requires stairs to get inside.  Here is just one set of numerous stairs Alan and his crew have built on the island.

Custom boardwalks created for Osprey Point, connecting their properties to their outdoor Gazebo area.  Alan loves the challenge of intricate angles that this job provided.  The creativity of these jobs allows Alan to “show off” his expert wood working abilities.

The owner of this dock wanted something more durable than the typical “wooden” dock and opted for the more contemporary Trex decking.  This composite material requires little maintenance in the harsh salt water environment present on the island.

Construction of a beach boardwalk.  Permitting to do jobs such as these require navigating through the paperwork required by the Department of Environmental Protection Agency due to dune and turtle protection on the barrier island.
